Updated pictures of the cats and kittens!

Sunkist; isn't she ADORABLE?
See, aren't I CUTE?

James! Still the smallest, still sweet as can be. Look at his face- it just says "please pick me up and cuddle me"!

Another shot of James, I think his eyes are going to stay blue-green- GORGEOUS!

J.T.. who is just hanging out!
PJ and Sunkist romp on the cat tree! A neat picture because I have a mirror behind this tree so you can see Sunkist in the mirror.

Jack... isn't he SO cute? Can't you tell he is smiling at you, just waiting for the next fun adventure!

Jack, being his typical inquisitive self

Jack, trying his best to look innocent :)

Updated on older kittens (now cats!)

If you are interested in meeting or adopting any of the cats or kittens, contact Lori at VFRgrl@yahoo.com!

Jack and Miguel and Haga and JT are all about 1 year old now! Wow, time sure flies!

JT on the very top of the tree, Haga and Miguel on the middle step, and Jacks head in the bottom left

JT is still as sweet and accepting as ever. Please read his blog entry for more pictures and information- but I wanted to get some new pictures up of everyone.

Haga is a sweetie and seems to be very tolerant of the newest litter of small kittens. He has decided he doesn't like to go to adoption shows, so it will be important if you are interested in him to arrange a visit to see him at home. We are in the Sharpsburg, MD area and welcome to visit!

Jack is as playful, and silly as ever. Honestly, I'm not sure I've ever met a cat with as silly a personality as Jack. Most cats are pretty dignified and act serene and regal even when they are clumsy. I sometimes feel that the more you laugh at Jack, the more he tries to be silly. (If you laugh at my tortie Pirelli- she will be mad at you for weeks).

I don't know why the perfect home hasn't come along for Jack; but we are happy to have him in our home every day. He cheers everyone up with his antics.

Miguel is a little harder to get a good picture of, because he is usually in your face (literally). He still enjoys his face rubs and when he isn't rubbing on your face- he is running around (or away) with the dogs. He is such a sweet cat and has grown to be a pretty big (tall) boy!

New Arrivals! KITTENS

Meet the new arrivals; four spunky kittens who were put in foster care because Moms feral colony was being relocated. During all the stress and fuss of being moved, Mom decided she was too upset to care for her babies so we took them into foster care at 3 weeks of age.

They are about 6 weeks old right now (on June 24th) and are too cute for words!

The biggest is a female calico named Cali (short for Calista). Cali is a very charming, adorable girl who will let you know if she is unhappy (or cold, or hungry, or tired, or bored..well, you get the picture) by MEOWING rather loud! She rewards your attentions with a rumbly purr

Next we have P.J who is an adorable female Tortie! As you can see- she already loves to climb the cat trees!! PJ is a diva who is camera-shy - but she loves to be petted and held, as long as that leads to being able to explore a little on her own!

The next baby is a FEMALE orange tabby (quite unusual as orange tabbies are usually male) named Sunkist (yes, after the beverage). Sunkist is a charming, playful girl who seems to be a picky eater- but we think we have her preferences figured out because she is starting to be a happy eater!

And LAST but DEFINITELY not LEAST; we have JAMES (named after James Bond) who is an adorable Tuxedo- Boy.

James is the smallest of the 4 and is also a picky eater. He is a very sweet and VERY cuddly little guy who prefers to snuggle with the humans than the other cats, kittens, or puppies!

SPOTLIGHT KITTEN: HAGA

For more information about adopting Haga or any of the kittens; email me at VFRgrl@yahoo.com
Meet Haga: He was named after World Superbike racer Noriyuki Haga (pictured to the right)
Haga is a beautiful black cat, with a white spot on his chest, and white markings on his belly that make him look like he is wearing a bikini!
Haga is very sweet, but very shy with new people. Once he warms up to you, he is very loving and trusting and likes to have his belly rubbed.
Haga and his brother JT had little socialization and interaction when they were young (see their Petfinder page for more information) so they both are still very 'kitten-like' in their play and behavior- even though they are around 9 months old. Haga LOVES to play with crumpled-up paper balls and will chase them all over the house and carry them around in his mouth

Haga is GORGEOUS, like a little black panther with beautiful round green-yellow eyes.
His personality is still coming out, and I think he would love to have more individual attention rather than being one in the crowd.

Haga LOVES his brother JT and they will play and sleep together- but he also gets along with other cats and kittens. Because of everything that Haga and JT have gone through, I am requiring that they be adopted together. Haga much more shy than JT- but if JT is around- he is more likely to be brave and venture out around new people. They cuddle and knead on each other- and Haga will look for JT if he isn't sure of something or is scared. He really loves his brother and I hope there is someone out there who understands the bond these two brothers have.

If you think that this gorgeous, sleek, sweet, and playful black panther would be a good addition to your home (and you are willing to adopt his wonderful brother JT with him) contact Lori at VFRgrl@yahoo.com.

Also, please feel free to contact me with any questions that you have about these wonderful babies!
